Street and Site Lighting
Lighting that makes streets, paths and parking lots safer after dark.
Street and Site Lighting in Toronto and across Ontario
Good lighting is a safety system. Streets, intersections, parking lots and park paths need the right light levels and uniformity, without glare or light spilling into neighbouring homes.
We deliver street and site lighting projects from the ground up: civil work for pole bases, ducts and handwells, poles and luminaires, LED conversions, and parking lot and pathway lighting. All electrical work is performed by licensed electrical contractors, meeting Electrical Safety Authority requirements, to the owner's lighting design and municipal standards.
Harborline Sterling Construction Inc. is principal-led. One of our co-founders, Mansoor Alam Khan or Maqsood Mohammed, oversees every project, so decisions get made quickly and you always know who is accountable.

Who performs the electrical work?
Licensed electrical contractors, with Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) notifications and inspections where required. We manage the civil work, coordination, schedule and restoration.
Can you convert our parking lot lighting to LED?
Yes. LED conversions usually reduce energy and maintenance costs. We assess existing poles and wiring, then replace fixtures or poles as needed.
Do you design lighting?
Lighting layouts are prepared by qualified lighting designers or engineers to meet the required light levels. We can coordinate the design for you or build to the owner's design.
How do you handle work near traffic?
With traffic control to Ontario Traffic Manual Book 7, and work scheduled to limit lane closures.
Can lighting be added to existing paths and parks?
Yes, often with directional boring to limit damage to existing landscaping and paths.
